Interesting facts about me

Interesting facts about me...Well, I have some rods for sale:

Fenwick 7 1/2 ft. 6 wt. (FF756) (I rubbed a bit of the paint off the reel seat where the embossed Fenwick logo is) Except where I rubbed into the paint in the reel seat when I cleaned it, the rod is in excellent condition. $70 + shipping

Next is an old Brown Phillipson; 7 1/2 ft. 6 wt., but works fine with a 5 DT as well. Has non original heavy duty sock and PVC tube with fittings. $75 + shipping.

Next is an old 6 1/2 ft. Silaflex. One of the guides has been replaced but not being a rod wrapper, I used the original thread to secure it in place. I don't know if the wraps were colored or if the original color is from the epoxy. Both colors are the same piece of thread. The grip is large and form fitted to the hand. As ugly as it is, it actually works well. The only issues are with the guide that I replaced (supplied by Rick's Rods) and the "O" ring could be replaced. I think they are available from any plummer. The reel seat has some dings as you can see. The sliding ring does not move past the threads. It appears to have been built like that. This is a fast rod (for fiberglass) and I don't know what line would work best. The rod is light but I'm guessing a 6-7 wt. Probably a great float tube rod for bass etc. $45 + shipping.

Next we have a Wright & McGill Eagle Claw Trailmaster. 7 1/2 ft., 7 wt. 4 pc with original tube and bag. (bag has a hole) Rod is in excellent condition but the bag smells bad. I tried washing it but it still stinks. This is the FLY ONLY version, not the SPIN/FLY version. $45 + shipping.

And finally, a 3 1/2 in. early grey symmetrical pawl J W Young Pridex for LH or RH wind. Reel has paint loss but no other issues. $45 +shipping
